Small Commercial & Industrial Energy Solutions Quick Start Program Fact Sheet

The Small Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Solutions Quick Start Program is an energy efficiency program designed to help small C&I customers understand and make energy efficiency improvements. Customers can call a toll-free number to reach an energy efficiency solutions representative who can direct the customer to the best energy efficiency solution based on the customer’s need.

Who Is Eligible?

The Small C&I Energy Solutions Quick Start Program is offered to all Entergy Arkansas, Inc. non-residential, retail C&I customers with peak electricity demand less than 100 kW. Customers are defined by a single Tax ID number. Assessments are limited to one per customer due to the limited scope of the program. Customers may only participate in one energy efficiency program offered by Entergy Arkansas*.

What Are The Program Benefits?

Program benefits include providing customers with access to an Energy Efficiency Solutions Center representative, who may guide the customer to energy solution tips, to an on-line tool to help them calculate potential energy savings in their facility, and, for those businesses resolved to taking quick action by investing their money in energy efficiency improvements, to the opportunity for a walk-through energy assessment of their facility. The program will provide cash incentives to offset a portion of the upgrades if customers act within the 45-day period after the Assessment occurs. The program will also provide a list of Partnering Contractors who have committed to promote high efficiency standards and can perform the work in the required timeframe.

How Does The Program Work?

Per information sent to the customers in target markets, customers call into the Energy Efficiency Solutions Center and speak to an energy solutions representative who, through conversation and questions about the businesses’ facilities and operations, can assess and direct the customer to the best energy efficiency solution based on the their need.

What Are The Incentives?

The coupon incentive for eligible energy efficiency measures is $115/kW for peak demand reductions.

1. Energy Efficient Lighting

2. High-Efficiency Unitary Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Equipment

3. Electric Chillers

4. Premium Efficiency Motors

What Does The Program Cost?

The participants (customers and contractor allies) pay nothing for the program. Entergy Arkansas provides the support and incentives for the program. The financial investment that any participant makes is for the energy efficiency measures they install in their own facilities.

To participate in the program, customers call the Energy Efficiency Solutions Center at 1-877-212-2420 and speak to an Energy Solutions Representative or they may contact a Partnering Contractor directly.
