CoolSaver Air Conditioning Program
(Replaces A/C Tune-up)
Program Manual
CoolSaver Air Conditioning Efficiency Program
The CoolSaver Air Conditioning Efficiency Program is designed to increase
energy efficiency by maximizing the efficiency of existing air conditioners.
This is done by overcoming market barriers that prevent residential and
business customers from receiving comprehensive high-performance A/C and heat
pump system tune-ups. Energy savings are achieved by identifying A/C and heat
pump system inefficiencies during the tune-up evaluation and correcting the
system inefficiencies. Examples of improvements include the professional
cleaning of condenser coils, evaporator coils, and blowers, and adjustment of
refrigerant charge to digital accuracy.*Entergy Arkansas, Inc.
